Florence Knoll sofa 2-seat and 3-seat (new and vintage)
Designer: Florence Knoll
Knoll
Designed by Florence Knoll in 1954, the eponymous Florence Knoll Sofa (or couch/setee) is distinctive and versatile.
This sofa is seen in many different styles and colours throughout Mad Men and is also available in brown, green, grey, ivory, natural and sand hues, making it a truly versatile addition to your space.
Inspired by the rhythm and proportions of mid-century modern architecture, the Florence Knoll Sofa exhibits a geometric profile, constructed with a solid wood structure and an exposed metal frame, elevated on tubular steel legs.
Inspired by a hand-woven aesthetic, the Cato fabric was introduced in 1961 and is crafted from a wool-mix composition, with an exaggerated texture that makes it the ultimate accent.
Iconic designer Florence Knoll’s contributions to the world of design are immeasurable, while her inimitable vision over her long illustrious career won her countless awards and accolades, including the National Medal of Arts, awarded by the president, the American Institute of Architects’ Industrial Design Gold Medal and the Red Dot Design Award.
