The Louis Poulsen AJ Table Lamp designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1957, makes an appearance in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds‘ Enterprise – in Pike’s Ready Room (in chrome) and in M’Benga’s Sick Bay (in white).
A light very similar, if not the very same, makes an appearance in the Bond, No Time To Die – You can spot it in Q’s house.
The AJ lamp comes in various sizes and colours and also as a floor lamp.
The AJ Table Lamp was originally designed for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen and is identifiable by its distinctive fluted shade. It is the archetypal modernist desk lamp and the ideal companion for late-night working or reading.
Available in UK from Chaplins and Lights.co.uk and in USA from 2Modern.
