The art and design of a A Clockwork Orange – a podcast

Film and Furniture founder Paula Benson joins the stellar line up of previous guests in Kubrick’s Universe: The Stanley Kubrick Podcast where she discusses the ‘The Art and Design of A Clockwork Orange‘ as part of the 50th anniversary of Kubrick’s film adaptation.

Following previous podcast guests including A Clockwork Orange actors Malcolm McDowell and Gillian Hills, the Stanley Kubrick Appreciation Society’s Stephen Rigg invited Paula to take part in their podcast having first met at London’s BFI back in 2019 during a Kubrick retrospective season.

In this podcast Paula discusses the filming locations such as Skybreak in Hertfordshire, a home designed in 1965-1966 by architects Team 4, and the film set design details of the The Korova Milk bar, ‘HOME’ – Mr and Mrs Alexander’s House, Alex’s bedroom and his parents flat, the Record Shop, CatLady’s House and The Ludovico Medical Facility.
