The Ligne Roset Ploum Sofa is the result of a deliberate search for total postural comfort, designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec to offer an almost nest-like experience. It moves away from the traditional concept of a seated position, instead providing a vast, organic landscape that accommodates the body in any direction. This free-form shape is intended to soften the edges of a contemporary interior, acting as a singular, sculptural piece that prioritises a sense of wellbeing and informal ease over rigid structure.

A pair of Ploum sofas appear in The Drama when Charlie visits their friend Rachel’s (Alana Haim) workplace.
