How to watch the Oscars in UK and USA
Are you ready for the 96th Academy Awards? The 2024 Oscars ceremony will announce the winners on Sunday, March 10 at the Dolby Theatre, Ovation Hollywood. Here’s a recap and how to watch.
Oppenheimer leads the pack with 13 nominations, followed by Poor Things and Killers of the Flower Moon. Barbie received eight nominations including Best Picture, and some of our other favourites covered here on the website made Best Picture noms too including Poor Things and Maestro, with the latter also receiving nominations for Best Actor (Bradley Cooper) and Best Actresses (Carey Mulligan).

How to watch the Oscars in UK
The 2024 Oscars will air live in UK for free on ITV and the streaming platform ITVX on Sunday, March 10.
The broadcast will also be available on STV and STV Player.
Jonathan Ross will host on ITV from 10.15pm
Before the ceremony begins, viewers can watch the official stream of the 2024 Oscars red carpet on ITVX from 9pm, with Good Morning Britain presenter Ross King hosting.
ITV will also air a 90-minute Oscar Highlights show on Monday, March 11 from 10:45pm.
ITVX will also feature behind-the-scenes content and exclusive sneak peaks of the 2024 Oscars as the ceremony plays out.
Both the full version and the highlights of the 2024 Oscars will remain on ITVX for three weeks.
How to watch the Oscars in the US
You can watch the ceremony on ABC at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT.
The 2024 Oscars will air live on ABC and stream live at abc.com and the ABC app (if you’re a cable subscriber) via connected devices such as Roku, AppleTV and Amazon Fire TV.
The Oscars can also be watched on streaming services that carry ABC, such as Hulu, YouTubeTV, AT&T TV and FuboTV.
