We’ve studied the Overlook Hotel’s Gold Room carpet in Kubrick’s The Shining in careful detail and are thrilled to present this memorable carpet as high quality 100% wool, hand tufted rugs and runners (wall-to-wall carpet also available).

The Art Deco Gold Room in The Shining’s Overlook Hotel (also known as the Gold Ballroom) houses the bar where Jack Torrance orders a drink (bourbon on the rocks) from bartender Lloyd. The carpet in this room is exquisite and in our humble option is the the third most iconic carpet in horror (the first, of course, being the Hicks Hexagon carpet design seen in the corridor, for which Film and Furniture has become famous, and the second being the Room 237 carpet).

The Gold Room carpet is available in beautifully crafted, 100% 1 ply wool, and as luxury rugs, runners and wall-to-wall carpet for your own home, bar or ballroom!

For large areas, a budget printed nylon version is also available.
