A long-standing favourite of ours, the Swedese Lamino Chair by Yngve Ekström (1956) is Scandinavian modernism at its most graceful. Its moulded, layer-glued veneer frame – in oak, beech or walnut – delivers that unmistakable lightness of form, while the sheepskin upholstery adds warmth, texture and year-round comfort thanks to wool’s natural temperature regulation.
Available in seven sheepskin colours, plus fabric and leather options, it’s a piece that sits as beautifully in a contemporary interior as it does in the generational Oslo home of Sentimental Value.
Elegant, ergonomic and enduring – this is design history you can actually sink into.
