MR cantilever chair, dining chair / side chair by Mies Van der Rohe

The MR cantilever chair was designed by Mies van der Rohe and features polished chromed legs and leather saddles/sling. 

The leather seat and back rest come in black, brown and white leather or rattan upholstery.

An exemplary piece of Modernist design.

We have spotted these dining chairs in films such as Widows (in the Rawling’s apartment) and in the 2012 Prometheus short film promo DAVID (featuring Michael Fassbender) where two David’s are seen playing chess seated in brown leather MR cantilever chairs.
