The PH Pendant Lamp By Poul Henningsen For Louis Poulsen comes in various numbers of ‘layers’ of shades and colours.

We spotted a PH Pendant lamp from the pastel collection (possibly PH5) in grey, blue and rose hanging in the Brown’s house in Paddington and a red one hanging boldly in the Rawlings’ monochrome kitchen in Widows.

The fixture is designed based on the principle of a reflective shade system, which directs the majority of the light downwards. The shades are made of mouth-blown opal three-layer glass, which is glossy on top and sandblasted matt on the underside, giving a soft and uniform light distribution.
