Film and Furniture In the Press: Sq Ft magazine

It’s been a rainy grey day here in UK so it’s fortuitous that Sq ft magazine arrived in the post yesterday giving me a great excuse to sit on the sofa and take a read.

From Creative Director Sean Brown and Editor Iva Golubovic this new magazine tells stories from the heart and outskirts of the world of art and design. The mag shines a light on artists and art lovers, and dissect how they shape and are shaped by the spaces they occupy.

This first issue includes an interview with yours truly where I talk about how Film and Furniture was born, and how we help movie lovers identify and find items and set pieces they see on the screen.

Paulo Calle is the face of our inaugural issue which includes a tour of his LA home and a discussion on his outlook on design, culture, and the many objects that characterise his space.

Also featured in this issue is musician and painter Teebs, Julianne Ahn of Object and Totem, designer Ini Archibong, musician and designer James Fauntleroy and Jerald Coop of Hood Mid Century Modern.
