Big thanks are due to all our FFFriends and followers as we’re excited to announce that Film and Furniture has made it to the shortlist for the Best Design Inspiration Blog in the Oscars of the interior blogging world – the Amara Interior Blog Awards 2018.

We’re pleased to have been nominated several years in a row, but making it to the shortlist of the top 5 UK interiors blogs is a big feat given the number of nominations and stiff competition in the Best Design Inspiration category. We’re thrilled to have made it through this year.

We’re a little bit different from the run of the mill interiors blog and the way the shortlist was created was also a little bit different too this year. The shortlist was decided by a combination of the judge’s scores and the votes each blog received from the public to create an overall score, the five highest scoring blogs in each category and territory making it through.

Congrats are also due to all the other shortlisted interiors blogs. There are some talented writers and inspiring blogs out there!

Our guest writers, researchers, volunteer copy checkers, furniture consultants, tech gurus, production designers, set decorators and brilliant designers who all contribute to make the site what it is – are also very grateful for all your votes too.

The awards evening is on 25th October. Wish us luck!
