Wind wood lamp pendant light shade

Director: Alejandro González Iñárritu

A classic and refined, simple and sophisticated pendant lamp and a very similar ceiling lampshade is seen in Silverio’s apartment in Bardo, False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths.

The Wind lampshade is a flexible, domed structure, made of a sequence of veneer strips resting on each other, closing a circle.

This hanging lamp can be used as a single center piece in the living room, it looks great as a pair or more above long dining tables, or as a group of several lamps in different heights for places with a high ceiling.
The fascination of this piece is in the rhythmic intervals of veneer, air and light that create rich variations of light.
