Explore the illustrated world behind LAIKA’s stop-motion film Wildwood with this paperback box set of Colin Meloy and Carson Ellis’s bestselling trilogy: Wildwood, Under Wildwood and Wildwood Imperium.

The first book, on which the film is based, follows Prue McKeel into the Impassable Wilderness after her baby brother is abducted by a murder of crows. Together with her friend Curtis, she discovers a secret world of talking animals, mystics and rival powers hidden in the forest at Portland’s edge. Their rescue mission soon becomes a struggle for the future of Wildwood itself.

Carson Ellis’s richly detailed illustrations helped inspire the film’s visual world. Each volume includes more than eighty illustrations, including maps and full-colour plates, offering plenty to explore beyond the screen.

A thoughtful gift for fantasy readers, illustration lovers and anyone keen to venture further into Wildwood.
