The Shining 4K Ultra HD

Our favourite carpet in film is of course the hexagonal patterned carpet in The Shining‘s Overlook Hotel so we can’t wait to see it (in all it’s gory glory) in the forthcoming remastered 4K Ultra HD version.

It turns out we don’t have long to wait as The Shining 4K Ultra HD / Digital release of Stanley Kubrick’s classic film adaptation of the Stephen King novel is already available to pre-order, shipping on 1st October 2019.

What’s more, Amazon are running  15% discount on pre-orders.

The 4k remastering was overseen by Steven Spielberg and Stanley Kubrick’s former assistant Leon Vitali using a new scan of the 35mm negative.
