NOHRD curved treadmill as seen in Bugonia
Director: Yorgos Lanthimos
Seen in Michelle’s beautifully controlled home gym in Bugonia, the NOHRD Sprintbok Curved Treadmill suggests training not just for fitness, but for something altogether more… advanced.
With its elegant curved oak frame and exposed wooden slats, the Sprintbok looks more like a piece of sculptural architecture than conventional cardio equipment. Powered entirely by the runner, this manual treadmill responds instantly to movement — no motor, no presets, just pure, self-generated momentum. The effect is fluid, demanding and strangely exhilarating, as if designed for bodies with superhuman stamina.
In the world of Bugonia, where Michelle’s environment hints at heightened ability and control, the Sprintbok feels perfectly cast. It’s easy to imagine this as the training ground for an alien with superpowers — running harder, faster and longer than any ordinary human machine would allow.
Warm oak, precision engineering and an unapologetically analogue experience make the Sprintbok a piece that belongs as much to the interior as to the workout. Cardio, reimagined for a character — and a home — operating on another level.
