Apple Honey Chairs by Shiro Kuramata

Designer: Shiro Kuramata
The Apple Honey chair by visionary Japanese designer Shiro Kuramata (1985) makes a striking appearance in the boardroom of Severance.
With its slender steel legs, gently curved tubular backrest that doubles as arm support, and a simple upholstered seat, this design is all about clarity and poise. The name brings a touch of poetry to an otherwise pared-back form — a hallmark of Kuramata’s approach.
Now regarded as a collectible piece of 1980s design history, the Apple Honey is as bold in a contemporary interior as it is on screen.
