Robin Day 675 chair

Designer: Robin Day

Director: Matt Winn

A design that has truly stood the test of time, The Robin Day 675 chair is one of the most recognisable pieces of 20th Century furniture. Awarded the prestigious Design Guild Mark Award in 2015, this classic chair has been beautifully revised in close collaboration with the Robin and Lucienne Day Foundation to produce a more compact piece. We find this chair in Tom and Sarah’s study in The Trouble With Jessica.

This pioneering chair features an innovatively moulded walnut veneer back which uses a singular curve rather than the obvious double curve to create its supportive backrest and arms.

Available in industrial black or brushed chrome, the period style chair legs are topped with a soft cushioned seat upholstered in black leather or wool and finished in matching piping.

Originally designed in 1952.
