Imola Chair by Henrik Pedersen for BoConcept – as seen in Bugonia

Designer: Henrik Pedersen

Director: Yorgos Lanthimos

Striking, sculptural, and steeped in cinematic presence – the Imola Chair is a modern design statement that has earned its place on screen. In Yorgos Lanthimos’ Bugonia, the chair’s dramatic wingback and sweeping curves command attention, upholstered in a warm brown leather with brushed steel legs.

Designed by Henrik Pedersen for Danish brand BoConcept, the Imola takes its inspiration from the arcs of a tennis ball. Its flowing lines and precise stitching create a chair that is as much a piece of art as it is a seat. Elegant yet generous, it’s roomy enough to curl up in but refined enough to remain perfectly poised in any setting.

Available in a wide range of fabrics and leathers, the Imola comes with two base options: slender wire legs or a swivel star base for seamless movement. Pair it with the matching footstool for an even more striking silhouette and ultimate comfort.

With its timeless design and memorable film appearance, the Imola Chair is more than furniture – it’s a collectible piece of modern design with cinematic pedigree.
