We are pleased to offer a rare and particularly handsome vintage Howard Keith (HK Designs) Barbican modular corner sofa for sale on behalf of a private client.

A Barbican sofa by HK Designs features in striped fabric in the film Rocketman.

Vintage originals of the HK Barbican sofa as this one is, are rarely seen for sale. This is a statement Midcentury sofa which oozes vintage cool.

This 1970s sofa is covered in its original velour fabric upholstery.

1 x left hand chair with arm (90cm wide x 100cm deep)
1 x corner chair (100cm wide x 100cm deep)
1 x middle armless unit (70cm wide x 100cm deep)
1 x right hand chair with arm (120cm wide x 100cm deep)

Total = 190-200cm left hand width, 290cm right hand width
70cm high.

The two end arm rests each have clever and rather useful steel/acrylic silver shelves for standing your tea, coffee or Tequila Sunrise!

The units sit on wooden plinths with castors.

This sofa set comes complete with original HK label and original Howard Keith of London’s 1970s brochure.

Provenance: Originally bought from Harrods in the 1970s.

In very good condition for its age:
The fabric on the undercarriage is wearing thin, and there are a few scratches on the stainless steel arm rests, but otherwise this modular unit is in great condition.
