Hill House Chandeliers designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh

Charles Rennie Mackintosh designed these chandeliers for Hill House, Helensburgh, his second major house project commissioned by publisher Walter Blackie.

This stunning lighting makes an appearance in Inception.

Mackintosh is perhaps Scotland’s most famous architect. Born in Glasgow in 1868, the architect, artist and designer was a pioneer of modernism, blending Scottish and Japanese influences with art nouveau to create his own unique aesthetic.
