UKs largest open air cinema
The Luna Cinema hosts open air cinema in some rather splendid settings – from London parks to country manor houses and castles, via swimming pools, theatres and ruined abbeys.
They promise state of the art screens, digital projectors and bespoke sound equipment to provide a cinema quality visual and audio experience.
Screenings continue this summer til 28th September 2104. Coming up this week in Holland Park is Baz Luhrmann‘s Romeo and Juliet (1996), Alfred Hitchcock‘s The Birds (1963), The Graduate (1967), and Les Miserables (2012). Goldfinger will be screened in Regents Park this Saturday 17th (with magnificent production design by one of my favourites – Ken Adam).
Breakfast at Tiffany’s is on 27th August at Lulworth Castle which might inspire you to acquire a classic or contemporary chandelier, but what ever you do, don’t be tempted to make your bath into a sofa!
See the Luna Cinema website at www.thelunacinema.com for more details and a very helpful calendar of events.
