Fashionably furnished: Kartell x Mattel’s limited edition Barbie pink chairs make a statement

If you’re a lover of furniture and film, and the Barbie movie hit home with you, then you’ll be interested to learn that Mattel Creations and furniture company Kartell have joined forces to launch a limited collection of iconic chairs, all in Barbie’s signature colour of pink. Blurring the realms of playthings and artistry, this collection unveils both doll-sized and full-scale chairs, launched at Milan Design Week earlier this month.

Amongst the highlights are five adorable miniature renditions of Kartell’s renowned chairs: AI, Venice, Louis Ghost, Masters and Eros, all swathed in Barbie pink Pantone 219C. This exclusive collection showcases a sophisticated design aesthetic while delving into sustainable materials like bamboo and 100% FSC recycled paper for packaging, offering a glimpse into the future of eco-conscious plastics. Furthermore, it heralds the premiere of Barbie’s Signature line dedicated solely to furniture.

Crafted in celebration of Barbie’s timeless charm and style, an exclusive limited edition of the adult size Louis Ghost chair has also been released to bring a pop of vibrant colour to your home or office. Its sleek silhouette and Barbie Pink finish evoke a sense of whimsy and nostalgia, making it a must-have statement piece for collectors and design enthusiasts alike.
