Zoffany’s Naverre fleur-de-lys wallpaper in 221B Baker Street, London may no longer be in production but it is firmly etched in Sherlock fans minds as being synonymous with the great detective played by Benedict Cumberbatch.
Sherlock Production Designer Arwel W Jones has said that Director Paul McGuigan had misgivings about his choice of wallpaper for the series fearing the dark pattern would be too busy on screen. Can you imagine the now iconic show without it?!
