Wassily lounge chair (miniature)

This desktop sized version of Marcel Breuer’s Wassily Chair is part of a miniature collection of the most important classics of modern furniture history.

The construction, materials and colours correspond perfectly to the historical Vitra Design Museum Collection original and in some cases were assisted by the designers to develop the miniatures. The miniatures are not only valuable collector items, but are also ideal illustrative material for universities and colleges.

The Wassily Chair, also known as the Model B3 Chair, was designed by Breuer in 1925-26 while he was the head of the cabinet-making workshop at the Bauhaus in Dessau, Germany.
