Tizio Table lamp metal black

As seen in:

Designer: Richard Sapper

Artemide

Director: Adrian Lyne

The Tizio Table lamp makes an appearance in 9 1/2 Weeks, on Elizabeth’s desk.

This Artemide design by Richard Sapper features articulated, moveable and counterbalanced arms and was first launched by the Italian light manufacturer in 1972 and soon became a designer classic.

The lamp is movable in all directions, and remains in position thanks to the counterweights. Apart from the supply cable, the construction completely avoids any disruptive cables.

The designer Richard Sapper (1932-2015) created a number of design classics: the Sapper office chairs in 1979, a series of stopwatches for Heuer in 1979, and also the Nena folding chair for B&B Italia in 1984. Many well-known manufacturing brands were among his clients.

You can find these lamps from around £283, follow the links below.
