We are pleased to offer a vintage Howard Keith (HK Designs) Diplomat sofa in zebra print, for sale on behalf of a private client.

HK Diplomat in zebra print fabric

Purchased from new in about 1976 from Harrods.

Measurements: 268cm (W) x 104cm (D) x 62cm (H). 

In very good condition.

No sagging on the arms and both “log” cushions are in good condition. 

No tears.

Hasn’t been used much in the last 20 years.

No visible HK or fire safety labels.

Collection from Stanmore, Middlesex by prior arrangement.

The Diplomat’s low, modernist sleek lines and deep-set seating make them a well sought after piece.

HK created bespoke furniture for the Queen’s Royal Train and the QE2 cruise liner. HK of London designed furniture for the British Parliament and the Royal Bank of England.

The Diplomat’s sister sofa, the Barbican, was featured in Elton John’s private jet in Rocketman.
