Part One   The disturbing dystopian film A Clockwork Orange (1971) is based on the 1962 book of the same name by Anthony Burgess and has caused me great dilemma over the years. Adapted, produced, and directed by Stanley Kubrick, it contains violent images of juvenile delinquency and youth gangs, many examples of the objectification of women, and depressing commentary on social, political and economic subjects.
