This beauty of a table lamp by Max Ingrand was designed for Fontana Arte in the 1950s. Made of white glass this lamp plays a starring role in Le Mepris (Contempt) as Paul and Camille Javal (Michel Piccoli and Brigitte Bardot) go through a series of arguments and reconciliations in their apartment.
