What craziness is this? It's The Boy Friend, the 1971 British musical comedy starring Twiggy, written and directed by Ken Russell, with incredible sets (Production Design by Tony Walton, Set Decoration by Ian Whittaker). This brings to mind the forthcoming Twiggy documentary directed by @sadielizafrost who F&F's @paulabenson had the great pleasure of having a chat with recently (pic 4+5, and yes, that's Sadie's dog in the bag!) after an upfront and honest talk she gave about the big ups and downs of business ((watch the video slide 6).

Sadie's documentary @twiggy_doc will be the first time @twiggylawson has ever told her story first-hand. Discovered at 16 and proclaimed as "the face of '66", the model became an overnight sensation. The world saw her grace the covers of Vogue and Tatler by 17 and the New Yorker magazine devoted nearly 100 pages to the Twiggy "phenomenon" after her arrival in New York. 🛋️ This modular sofa exhibits exceptional design and limitless configuration possibilities. With maximum functionality and distinctive comfort, the DS-600 system, created originally in 1972 by De Sede, remains an icon–a unique, versatile addition to any lounge, office or film set, such as The Hunger Games (pic 1+2), Scarface (pic 3), American Horror Story: Hotel (pic 4), Black Mirror: Bandersnatch (pic 5) and Wonder Woman 1984 (pic 6).

🐍 Inspired by an ancient snakelike mythical Alpine creature named the Tatzelwurm, the DS600 is formed of modular elements that can be combined in infinite ways to create a flowing, serpentine seating arrangement.

⟺ Each upholstered segment can be zipped together, allowing for free-flowing, mobile concepts as well as more conventional configurations. It even holds a place in the Guinness Book of Records as the world’s longest sofa.

🇨🇭 Newly made versions of this sofa are crated in a small town in rural Switzerland using luxury leathers.
