Several Bauhuas table lamps are seen in the Netflix series Ripley helping to contribute to the neo-noir lighting effects, particularly in the many letter writing scenes. A frequent feature of a Bauhaus table lamp is a saucer or hood, which serves to create an ambient downlight.
