Oscars 2017: Best Production Design nominations

Good luck to all the nominees of the Oscars 2017! The 89th annual Academy Awards takes place tonight (26 February) at the Dolby Theatre at the Hollywood and Highland Center in LA, starting at midnight here in the UK (which is 7pm in New York and 4pm in LA) with the actual ceremony commencing from 1.30am in the UK (which is 8.30pm in New York and 5.30pm in LA).

Here at Film and Furniture we’ll be particularly tuned into to the Oscars production design category – the talented teams that design and create the all-important film sets, as well as all those carefully chosen furniture pieces and decor we spot in films.

Here are the nominations for Best Production Design:

Arrival:
Patrice Vermette (Production Design) and Paul Hotte (Set Decoration).
