Back To The Future – Lyon Estates Gates

Back To The Future – Lyon Estates Gates

Universal Studios has officially sanctioned “We’re Going Back’s” creation of two pairs of completely accurate, full 1:1 scale “LYON ESTATES” gates as seen in Back to The Future. The gates were meticulously researched and flawlessly re-created to the exacting standards expected from the same team who restored the original hero “A” Delorean Time Machine for Universal Studios.

Both the lion and finial statues were cast from the original “Back to the Future” production molds. Just this one officially licensed pair of the impressive gates will be auctioned off to one lucky bidder in the forthcoming Screen Used auction. The other pair will be featured at the 30th Anniversary of Back to the Future “We’re Going Back” celebration events and then donated in the name of the fans to be placed back on the Universal Studios Hollywood tram tour, where the gates from Back to the Future II & III resided for years, but no longer exist after being erased from existence. This pair of iconic Lyon Estates gates were produced by a team of professional industry prop fabricators and scenic artists. One side of the gates has been painted with the clean 1955 finish, while the other side has the distressed 1985 finish. Travel through time, from 1985 to 1955 and back again, by simply turning the gates around!

Opening bid: $8,000
